It seems the government is taking notice of the housing market finally The paper mentioned this week that the rumor has it that The Fed may lower interest rates soon in an effort to get the housing market started again. Even though rates are still low, to many who aren't old enough to have paid upwards of 7% mortgage rates the current rates seem high. So maybe the rates will be dropped as an effort to get bench sitters in the game - it can't come soon enough for the sellers who see no offers after price reductions and incentives. |
